FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you order.
Safety
Are confetti cannons safe to use indoors?
Yes. Our cannons are air-powered and non-pyrotechnic — no fire, no smoke, no loud bang. They're safe for indoor venues, ballrooms, photo studios, and event halls.
Are confetti cannons loud?
No. Because they're air-powered, not explosive, the sound is a soft pop — nothing startling. Safe around kids, elderly guests, and pets.
Do confetti cannons hurt?
No. The confetti is lightweight tissue paper and the air pressure is gentle. Point upward and away from faces and you're good. These are designed for celebrations, not combat.
Are confetti cannons legal?
In most places, yes. Because ours are non-pyrotechnic and air-powered, they're not subject to fireworks regulations. That said, some venues and cities have restrictions on confetti. Always check with your venue before your event.
Can kids use them?
Yes, with adult supervision. The twist mechanism requires a firm grip, so younger kids may need a hand. Teens and adults can use them independently.
Using the Cannon
How do confetti cannons work?
Twist the bottom section to build air pressure, point upward at a slight angle, and release. The compressed air launches the confetti up to 20–25 feet. No buttons, no batteries, no setup.
How far do confetti cannons shoot?
Up to 20–25 feet. For photos and video, 10–15 feet gives the best visual spread.
How do I tell what color confetti is inside?
The multicolor pack contains a mix of colors in every cannon — you don't need to sort them. What comes out is what's inside.
What is the tube that shoots out confetti called?
It's called a confetti cannon or confetti popper. Ours are 12-inch handheld air-powered cannons — no CO2 cartridge required.
How Many to Buy
How many confetti cannons do I need?
For a small gathering under 20 people, 1 pack (5 cannons) is enough. For weddings, graduations, or larger events, most customers order 2–4 packs. For 100+ guests or large venue shoots, 10 packs is common.
How many do I need for a New Year's party?
Plan for one cannon per 2–3 guests if everyone is participating, or 5–10 cannons if you want a coordinated group shot. For a countdown moment with 30+ people, 2 packs minimum.
How many do I need for 100 guests?
For a full group moment, plan for 20–30 cannons (4–6 packs). If it's just a send-off or photo moment with a smaller group, 10 cannons (2 packs) is usually enough.
Product Details
Is the confetti biodegradable?
Yes. Our confetti is made from biodegradable tissue paper. It breaks down naturally and is safe for outdoor use including grass, gardens, and beaches.
Is foil confetti biodegradable?
No — foil or Mylar confetti is not biodegradable and is banned in some cities including New Orleans. Our cannons use tissue paper confetti only, which is fully biodegradable.
Do confetti cannons expire?
No expiration date. Store in a cool, dry place and they'll work when you need them — whether that's next week or next year.
How much do confetti cannons cost?
Our 5-pack is $23.99 — that's $4.80 per cannon. Buying in larger packs reduces the per-cannon cost further. No subscription, no hidden fees.
Cleanup
How do you clean up after a confetti cannon?
Indoors: sweep or vacuum after the confetti settles — it takes about 2 minutes. Outdoors: because it's biodegradable tissue paper, it breaks down on its own. Most venues are fine with it.
Is it OK to vacuum confetti?
Yes. Tissue paper confetti vacuums up easily. For hard floors, a dry mop or broom works just as well.
